If they add Double Indemnity to that list there are going to be a lot of happy noir geeks in the world...

Blue Crush is BOUND to be reference quality in both PQ and AQ. The beautiful scenery should look incredible in HD. The DD 5.1 on the DVD is strong enough as it is. Can't imagine the DTS-HD track!

BTW, Babe being the only kids movie in the list. I would have much preferred Casper over it!

i refuse to believe that anyone would actually not buy A Beautiful Mind.

it's in my top 5, I wish it was getting some sort of special edition release but that looks not to be the case.

Ray!

Finally! I've been hoping that Universal would release this for ages! I was mad when it didn't come out on Blu-Ray when Uni switched over.

I'll be getting these immediately:
American Graffiti
Dazed and Confused
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
National Lampoon's Animal House
Out of Sight
The Blues Brothers
To Kill a Mockingbird
The Birds

I'll get these when they're cheap:
A Beautiful Mind
Billy Madison
Blue Crush
Happy Gilmore

American Graffiti has been one top 5 most anticipated blu-rays. I'm incredibly excited about the movies listed above, but I wish they would show David Lynch some love. I'm eagerly awaiting US releases of Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway.
American Graffiti!!! Yeah baby!!! That's awesome news!!
I had a feeling it was gong to be released before the SW saga next year!!
Although it won't wow anyone in HD, due to the way it was shot, but it will still be better than the DVD in every way. I hope they'll present the fantastic hour long documentary in HD!!!

I will probably get A Beautiful Mind as a blind buy.
Perhaps Animal House, if that is the legendary comedy, which has had such a great influence on so many other comedies?

Eternal Sunshine OTSM is a maybe, since I love Jim Carrey's work, but I don't see myself watching this over and over again, as I really couldn't stand Kate Winslet's character very well in it, and it's just too serious for my taste.
How about some Man on the Moon???

I'm definitely in for Happy Gilmore and The Blues Brothers. I love those films but, for some odd reason, I still only own the VHS copies. It's time for an upgrade!

Some good titles in there. I can see myself picking up A Beautiful Mind and The Blues Brothers.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is one of my all time favorites so I am hoping for an awesome release. Otherwise, I don't see myself upgrading.

I agree with this ^^

I like the American Pie movies but the only ones i would want to own are the first 3 movies.

Half Baked i like but when it comes out on Blu-ray i would honestly wait till it gets down to around $10 or $15 to buy it. I wouldn't pay anything over $20 for it.

Jaws is a no brainer and will be a day 1 buy whenever it comes out on blu-ray.

Mallrats is my all time favorite Kevin Smith movie and have been waiting for a Blu-ray release since the first day i bought my blu-ray player.
