If I can get it for under $10, I'll buy it. It was funny, yet DISTURBING at the same time. Steve Carell's character is just the oddest thing I've seen in any movie. I mean
[Show spoiler]his boss is f**king his wife and his boss wants him to say; "YOU CAN EAT MY PUDDING!"
I was like; "This is cruel and unusual punishment." When that scene happened, it killed the movie for me. It killed it for me. I was like; "There we go, out the window."

The 12/21 date is wrong. I believe it's 1/04.

The movie looks alot stupider than it is - it's a pretty well-balanced movie between serious and funny (more funny though).

I edited the title in the first & it says Jan 4th (the title in the main forum still says Dec 21st), when I originally was searching for the release date for Dinner For Schmucks this site had it listed for a Dec. 21st release date. Then they moved it back to Jan 4th.

The movie on which it was based, "The Dinner Game," was outstanding.

So I'm guessing it's kind of like, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia humor? Disturbing and stupid to a lot of people, but hilarious to others?

I love Paul Rudd and Steve Carell but I'm undecided if I should blind buy or not

I've seen this movie in the theaters. I actually found it funny however in a very unusual way because it was a very unusual comedy. I may pick this up.

I found the first 20mins to be very dull and boring. I almost gave up on the movie at that point however the 2nd/3rd acts were (IMO) very good and made up for the dull first 20mins.

Maybe if it's a decent price (which it probably won't be) I'll get it release week. Otherwise I'll wait until the price goes down or it's available on Netflix

I'm a fan of Rudd and Carrell, and based off the previews, the wackiness of it all intrigued me enough to wanna watch...but I didn't get around to it.

I'll pick it up if its $19.99 at release.

Yeah, I'm a Rudd and Carrell fan as well, but the price is a bit much.

Just watched this, and I've got to say...loved it.

I'm usually hard to please when it comes to comedies. Only thing that's really made me really laugh in the past couple of years is the Big Bang Theory. But I laughed loud and hard during this movie.

[Show spoiler]Although some could blame the alcohol for my finding it funny

I just watched Date Night and hated it, This looks more screwball which is right up my alley but I am wondering if it would be worth a blind buy?

Just watched this terd last night. It was so bad, yet I kept with it till the end. What a waste . I thought this could have been a real fun comedy. I am not a big Paul Rudd fan so I knew enough not to blind buy. Steve Carrell was just awful and had me counting down the seconds till the end. This is why comedy is such a tough genre. You either really hate it or really love it. No in between when judhing comedy performances.

I love Big Bang Theory. One of the best sitcoms in recent years IMO.
