Thanks xradman! Your pictures were most helpful. I guess the best solution would be a secret batcave for blu-rays!!!

About 1/2 of my collection is still sealed because I haven't seen about 1/2 of my collection (see above). I'll probably keep 1/3 sealed indefinitely because I purchased those as upgrades to things that I have already seen. I like to collect things. Let's not get started on why I buy or collect rather than rent.

Many of us would rather buy than rent. You're not alone.

I buy BDs myself mainly because I can watch them whenever I feel like. Some movies I have watched multiple times. In the case of a sequel coming out at the theater, I may go back and watch the previous movie(s) in the franchise to prep for the new release.

I current have over 300 BDs. Don't know if and how long it would take me to get to 1000 much less 2000. Holy crap! Batman! That's a lot. Xradman, if you ever get stranded on an island, you could probably build a good size raft/platform out of all the BDs you have.

Absolutely!

Some friends think I'm crazy with the amount of BDs I buy and ask why I don't rent. I'm a collector and it's a hobby, what else can I say?

I could join the club... if I counted my DVDs. Currently have around 2100 BD/DVDs. Otherwise it's gonna be awhile....

You're cheating though! You only own 134 BDs according to your profile.

It's the truth! I'm used to the old way of tallying for the site. I track BDs myself, not movies. I also use a separate app on my iPhone with a web database as well.

I just want to say that you're insane. Yes, I said it. Insane.

You have an awesome collection, I wish I had the same I probably will in a few years if I keep collecting like I'm doing now but it's still a pretty scary thought

Haha. Here I thought I was so cool sportin' 150 blu's.

I'm typing this on my iPhone. What app do you use for keeping track of your blu's?
