I had the MG Metro. Ironically it had GT written on the back

Yeah I was a bit miffed there was no Escort Cossy, but there's a MK1 Golf GTI in there

The car I'm driving at the moment is in there: Peugeot 206 RC (GTI 180) so I've got to buy that one first

I'd love to play with you guys, I'd definitely consider myself a beginner though, although I don't slide around and bump off people.

Maybe we could do like a weekly spec race for points? Tracked here on the forums of course. Unfortunately my wife says I can't open gt5 til Xmas

Anybody else have problems trying to race online? I just ended up being dissconected every time. Maybe the servers are full?

I tried to get into garlad's lounge last night (not an innuendo) but the network wasn't available at the time. Maybe by the weekend we should be fine.
And also.... yes I have a headset

I didn’t really try.. Had a mess around with the 'Community' section, but was kinda lost to be honest!

Do we all just go in to someone's Lounge, then start a race from there?

Shin-Ra commented that online was very sluggish last night so a lot of people are having problems.

We can try something tonight (might be 11ish for me) or over the weekend.

I think it is better joining another players lounge. That way you only have racers who you know.

But just realised I've to work tonight…Not til 11.30 or so.. gona be wrecked in the morning! So doesn’t look like I'll get to play GT until Saturday (work tmrw night too!)
