I wish I had held off on buying my single disk of WIZARD OF OZ. I wish I had the 3-Disk, like yours. Oh well.

I also am looking forward to Peter Pan, the main Disney movie I watched when I was a kid, and Finding Nemo (just because it should look great).
I think i have them ALL on DVD, but now I'm upgrading them one at a time to blue.

good luck on going over 100 people. if you had started earlier you couldve hit paydirt during hollywood video fiasco and when gohastings had some real deals. doubt ill ever get soo many blus for so cheap as i did with hollywood video, basically free.

Started collecting in early march this year with STAR TREK (2009). Just picked up Fantasia today. That puts me at 88 now. Aiming for at least 100 by 2011.
Thanks to Best Buy, Target and Wally's 10 dollar and under deals!

You act like you are ashamed you don't have 100 Blu rays. It's only a number. I for one only get Blus that I want and when I get to 100 it will be a cool milestone but that's about all.

Nope, no shame here. This is all in fun. I'm just trying to meet other collectors who have under 100 like myself.

If you would have started this club last month I could have joined. Amazon.com leading up to Black Friday and Walmart on Black Friday combined to put me over the limit. Funny thing is all the hype about Cyber Monday and I haven't seen anything close to the deals there were last week.

Yeah I was finding deals all over the place on Friday and even Thursday online. Monday I couldn't find anything that was even remotely as cheap as it was on that Thursday or Friday.

I have over 1,000 dvd's, but now that I have Bluerays and a new 64 inch HDTV and home surround sound system, I dont ever want to watch another DVD again.

Whenever I got to teh REDBOX to rent a title, my family gets upset if I pass on the dvd's until the Blueray is available.

Why go backwards when you can view it in it's BEST? LOL.
Ah! nice! a new thread for blossoming addicts - The "First Step" is: admitting you have a problem, once you reach 100 it should be very evident, however part of the "First Step" is realizing that they are not "Bluerays" they are "Blu-rays.

Great thread...

I'm at 50....with 10 on the way in transit from the black friday week deals.

Before the year is out there will be 60-65 in the collection here at the house. My collection began midway through the year with several BD's gifted to me from family. There is now a 50 inch panasonic 3D plasma to go with the great sound setup, and 3D bluray player. So the Blu rewards are now at a maximum for my enjoyment. Every purchase now is an exciting discovery. Now I have this screen, there is no more mpeg2 or DD accepted. Must be lossless and mpeg4/VC-1.

So, let me see.. I'll be in the club for probably 3-6 more months.

The amazon region free stocks are great choices with the aussie dollar doing so well vs the greenback so it could be closer to 3 months than 6.I do not earn a lot of money to burn on purchasing everything I want to see on blu. Mostly I've been getting movies from my top 100 list, and especially ones with rewatchability for me. For instance...

- LOTR trilogy
- The Jackal
- Armageddon
- The Perfect Storm
- Broken Arrow
- Mission : Impossible (1996)

Hey its a nice Idea to put up this thread.
I was so excited with The Dark Knight when I saw it in theatres. The Moment my local store got this BD I just bought it blindly without a second thought. At that time I don't have BD player and not even HDTV. Trust me when I say this, the main reason for me to get HDTV and BDP is to watch this movie and I able to do that after 5 months of buying TDK BD . Now I am having around 80 BDs, with the arrival BF Deal BDs, I might cross 100.

All the best guyz...
