Die Hard is my #1 Christmas movie followed by Lethal Weapon, Christmas Vacation, Bad Santa, Scrooged, A Christmas Story, Elf, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas- the original cartoon version.

Moonraker is always shown on Boxing Day here in the UK, and even though it's not the best Bond film I still watch it for a bit of fun every year.

As for Christmas films, the only one I watch every year is The Muppet Christmas Carol, because it's just a perfect Christmas film and even though it's a comedic take on the original Dicken's novel, it's still one of the best movie adaptations of the book, and Michael Caine is brilliant as always.

Funny, I just finished watching The Polar Express with my son about ten minutes ago. That movie moves me every time. Also, A Charlie Brown Christmas is an annual tradition.

I also might resort to films with Christmas scenes like The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, Mean Girls, and Toy Story. But I'm trying to pick up Jingle All the Way, A Christmas Story, Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, and It's a Wonderful Life in time for the holidays.
I recommend The Year Without Santa Claus!!!

Man, I almost forgot that I wanted to pick up that and the Christmas Classics box set. Can't go around forgetting the Rankin/Bass staples. Thanks for the reminder!

I put on A Christmas Story for the first time last week and turned it off after 30 minutes, a truly awful film.
