You want a holiday film that conveys the true spirit of the holidays, pick up Antichrist.

The original "Black Christmas" is such a fantastic movie! You gotta watch it around Christmas time
I don't know about the remake though, I'm not buying it due to the bad reviews.

DON'T. I plan on renting the original, and yes the remake was TERRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT see it. Just imo.

I hope you're joking cause I want to smack you. If you're talking about the remake then ya, but the Bob Clark B.C. is a classic, original slasher.

There are actually 3 versions of A Christmas Carol available now on Blu-ray:

1) 1951 Alastair Sim version
2) 1962 Mr. Magoo version (the 1st ever animated Christmas special!)
3) 1984 George C Scott version

They are all strong discs, PQ wise. And all three are very good films. The George C Scott version is probably my all-time favorite.

I agree! Sure, some look better than others but in general, if on the same TV you watched a DVD and BR, you would notice a difference 100% of the time, otherwise it wouldn't be a blu ray!! Silly kids

To bad 'Muppet Christmas Carol' isn't on BD. Micheal Caine makes an awesome Scrooge.
