You could refer to 'the authority' on region-coding: http://bluray.liesinc.net/
This site has been around for years now, with a huge amount of contributors worldwide.
(warning: takes long time to load. Consists of webpage per region, see tabs)

They are a great resource - but I've found that they don't have info on many 3D titles

True, but hopefully that will change soon, with our help as well. Anybody can mail in their findings on region coding, so if you could have a look which 3D discs you have, but can't find on the respective (A, B, or C) list, well, ...

I just posted this is the https://forum.blu-ray.com/3d-blu-ray...-titles-2.html thread- but it should be noted here too:

I just received the Faszination Korallenriff (Fascination: Coral Reef) 3D Blu-ray

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Faszi...Blu-ray/24535/

It is a native 3D disc - not a cheap-o conversion and has a nice lenticular cover - so for those who don't have enough underwater 3D discs, here's another one.

But here's the rub (!) - importers beware - the sleeve lists REGIONS ABC - but the disc is actually locked to REGION B!

Thanks for the info, great job! How's the actual movie otherwise?

Re: Faszination Korallenriff (Fascination: Coral Reef)

Aside from doing a quick check on titles as they come in, I'm limited to watching stuff on the weekends these days - so I haven't had an opportunity to watch it yet. The amazon.de review page is filled with raves, but I think they are primarily in response to the 3D being real, honest to gosh, native 3D, instead of converted.

It looks good - but it doesn't appear to be quite on the same level as either of Warner Bros IMAX 'Sea' films. Didn't appear quite as colorful - and the music & narration are not as lively (and not narrated by a known celebrity -LOL).

Hope that helps somebody out there - - -

The Australian Edition of Boogie 3D - (previously available only in France sans English language or subs) arrived today.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Boogie-3D-Blu-ray/24824/

I haven't had an opportunity to pop it in and give it a look, but I can report that the back cover states Region ABC - so this one should be a safe purchase for anyone so inclined.

Here are a few more to report - all tested on a USA Region A PS3 & a European Region B Sony BDP S-780 Blu-ray player:

A Haunting In Salem (USA)
plays on regions A & B, so it is probably Region Free. Native 3D. Directed by Dick Van Dyke's grandson (who also directed the abysmal Titanic 2), we found this one pretty entertaining.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/A-Hau...Blu-ray/23967/

The Hidden (UK)
is Region B Locked. 3D looks pretty good. Despite the wild premise, the movie is not all that good.
There is no link for at blu-ray.com and it's not up at amazon.co.uk - but is available through play.com. A German version is coming.
http://www.play.com/DVD/Blu-ray/4-/1...D/Product.html

Titanic 2 (Germany)
plays on regions A & B, so it is probably Region Free. Not in 3D at all - the worst "German conversion" I've seen yet. The entire screen is recessed a bit and it is "3D". The film's concept is pretty funny but seems like a lost opportunity to really milk it for all that it is worth. Movie is even worse than you'd imagine - almost Ed Wood like in its incompetence. Some good laughs - but not quite enough to really recommend.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Titan...Blu-ray/31202/

Scorpions: Live In 3D (Germany)
is Region ABC. Native 3D
There is no link for the German version at blu-ray.com – so I've linked to the UK version - but the disc has rating info for all major European territories so they are likely all from the same production run.
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Scorp...Blu-ray/33327/

The Lovers Guide (UK)
is Region B Locked. Native 3D
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-L...Blu-ray/18842/

Baseline (Germany)
is Region B Locked. Another German conversion - better than Titanic 2 - but I still see a lot of problems (similar to Loooser aka The Grand)
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Basel...Blu-ray/24910/

Zhu Zhu Pets: Quest for Zhu (Australia)
plays on regions A & B, so it is probably Region Free. Native 3D
There is no link for the Australian version at blu-ray.com – so I've linked to the UK version - not sure about the region info for that one or the other European releases.

And one more...

3D Safari: Africa (USA)
plays on regions A & B, so it is probably Region Free. Native 3D

I feel that I can justify awaking this old thread again, since the region locked titles seem to be popping up more and more.
