I have a feeling it will be region free but with a caveat. 2entertain is all over the place when it come comes to 50Hz or 24Hz so I hope that isn't the problem. That would really be a major tease.

Just thought I'd let the anticipation build for you guys :P
Don't get mad, I can't give a definitive answer.

I put both discs in my USA PS3 and they play the 2entertain logo fine, but then it just hangs and doesn't go anywhere. So I'd presume they are locked after the logos (but there is no error message), but it could be the PS3 firmware is preventing the discs from playing, I'm not sure.

Sorry guys.

Sorry guys.

Proof it must be either be 50Hz or has PAL material before the menu that prevents it from playing. Thanks for the information because it saves me from ordering from Amazon UK.

SyFy in the US has aired the first TWO seasons on their HD channel. It's not great, but it beats DVD...

Thanks. I have a Samsung 1500 that usually doesn't have trouble with the 50 Hz stuff. For example I can play the extras on Life on Mars BDs many people in the US say they can't play.

But I think I'll go the safe route here and just get the DVD for my region free Philips DVD player.

I tried to use every button on my remote but it wouldn't go past them. Usually the menu buttons work but they wouldn't until it got to the menu. I also tried to fast forward through and skip. No joy.
