Although I'm primarily a Prog Rock fan, the edge by a good margin must go to The Beatles.

Grossly depressed that U2 is listed as "classic rock".

Deeply horrified that I'm the first to vote for U2.

Jimi had several bands so I really don't think he should be on this list as a band. The Experience was his best band, but the Band of Gypsies was his most awesome.

As far as Best bands go it's a tie between The Who and Led Zep
But nobody was badder than Jimi Hendrix
