Default Release Date??

Anyone heard anything on the release date for this one? I've looked all over the place, but can only find the Feb 8th release date, which I'm guessing at this point is wrong.

Looked for this yesterday for my daughter and no one had heard of it. Disney has obviously delayed the release and I hate that because my daughter loves these movies.

LOL still waiting for a killer deal on the whole set before I jump, just no idea when that's going to come. Might have to settle for getting the 4 movies that are known right now around Black Friday.

Maybe this is the one where she loses her voice, only communicates in chimes, and becomes a jealous and vain pixie madly in love with Peter Pan, so in love she's willing to kill her rival and/or turn her rival over to Peter's mortal enemy. You know, connecting the dots to the Tink we all know from the original film.

...

...

What, you *don't* think that's going to happen?

...Nah, we had that one last year. Pretty good, too.

(And she never "lost" her voice, we just couldn't hear it. As above sequel makes a central plot point of elaborating upon.)

SHH! Don't let Lasseter hear you say the P-word! He'd shut down the studio, and animators would be shanghaied in the middle of the night and found in shallow graves out by Route 66...

(I mean, we were joking over on the other thread, but, wow....y-you really never have seen any of these, have you? )

Too late--since you stopped him at "Pete--", Lasseter now thinks she's in love with Pete Docter.

Probably because (a) February was poor timing (all other TB movies have come out in the fall; when February 2011 rolled around, Disney was still too busy selling TB3 to think about this one), and (b) Tinker Bell and the Pixie Hollow Games (formerly "Race thru the Seasons", originally planned as the end of the series) has already claimed this fall and couldn't be moved to 2012 without fouling up ESPN/ABC's bid for the 2014 & 2016 Olympics, which reportedly is being sweetened by Disney cross-promotion deals. (Olympic rings + Mickey Mouse ears, Tink's pixie dust, etc. = MEGABUCKS!)

Default Title Change

Winter Woods has been retitled Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings and should be released around the holidays in 2012. Pixie Hollow Games is a half-hour special that will premiere on the Disney Channel on November 19, 2011 at 7pm Eastern in the US. That makes one Fairy film for each season and one TV special (so far).

Hey, I buy them because my daughter loves them. She actually was Tinker Bell for Halloween.

Bring it on. I need to get the first 3 on Blu. I just need to find good slips though. Not a problem, as there are quite a few left. All of these movies have been extremely entertaining and just gorgeous to look at. Lasseter really did the trick with these DTV movies in insisting that the quality not be lessened. So they changed the title of this one from Mysterious Winter Woods to Secret of the Wings? Okay. I guess.

They also dropped "Tinker Bell" from the title, as they must be trying to emphasize the "Disney Fairies presents" label. (All of the characters, you see.)

Also, does anyone know whether "The Pixie Hollow Games" is an actual made-for-disk feature, or just a running serial of Disney Channel interstitial shorts, like the old 1980 Animalympics?
Kinda wondered why they didn't say "Coming to video"...
