I have had buttkickers, Crowson TES and D-BOX Motion Simulators. I think each of them adds a good experience when properly set up. Of the three, I feel the D-BOX is by far better but it is not really in the same category or price point.
Of the tactile transducers, it is my opinion that Crowson is the best, followed by Buttkicker, then Clark Synthesis, with Aura on the bottom of the list. The Crowson is a much more efficient system and will give you comparable results to the butt kicker with much less power requirements and is much easier to install, resulting in a more elegant and ideal integration into a home theater system. For a simple statement of how much I respect the quality of the Crowson system, I still have it on one of the seats in my theater, and I don't really cut many corners and always aims for best in class when I pick up a component. |
