I'd like to see the Blade series rebooted (as long as it isn't PG-13) and I really hope they can get a good action director for Underworld 4.

A pity the sequel to 30 Days of Night was D2DVD rubbish.

Hopefully that Lincoln vampire hunter movie that's in the works is awesome and hard-R. Could be fun.

Czar...if the creatures in "I Am Legend" are indeed vampires and not zombies, I'd have to modify my list. You're probably the biggest horror fan I've seen on this site during my short time on blueray.com, thus I pose the question to you. What is it about the creatures that warrants them being vampires as opposed to zombies?

Oh man we had a big discussion about this film months back and to me they have elements of both. I would have to say that they seem more like Vamps though simply due to not being able to come outside during the daylight for one. Got Em!!

That one doesn't exist!

Maybe you mean A & C Meet Frankenstein? Bela Lugosi is in it as Dracula. In other films they also "meet" the Mummy, Jeckyl & Hyde, the Invisible Man, Captain Kidd and Boris Karloff . . . but never Dracula.

IMO they are neither Vampire or Zombie they are just infected people like in the 28 movies.

Good point but films such as "The Last Man on Earth" (1964), had zombies incapable of daylight survival and the creatures in "IAL" appeared to have ferocious appetites rather than blood lust. Thanks for giving me something to ponder.

Actually I just read sumthin on that film u brought up as I never saw it, but it decribed them as undead vampiric creatures. That sounds just like the creatures in IAL. I think they qualify as a bit of both but again just the fact that they cant come out in broad daylight, thats a huge vampire trait.

Also just noticed that The Last Man on Earth is also based on the same book as IAL so there u go. Got Em!!
