It's a Fox release, I don't think the transfer will disappoint.

Truth is, though they've released some mediocre Blu-rays in the beginning (Patton and The Longest Day, for example) Fox continues to release amazing BDs now.

That's true but, as far as 'Some Like It Hot' is concerned, bear in mind that we need to distinguish between Fox's releases of their own movies and their releases of MGM movies via their distribution agreement. In the latter case, it's still MGM's decisions that determine the technical quality of the BDs.

Does anyone think there will be a good chance of another MGM $5 off coupon?? I'm debating whether or not to put in an amazon preorder. Thing is, oftentimes the coupon doesn't surface till just after the release.
