That is pretty cool news! I'm guessing if SHIELD is in this then so will The Avengers at some point, just like the Ultimate Spider-Man comics. If this show follows the comics exactly I have no doubt it will be a BIG hit.

animation style sort of reminded me of Spider-man: The Animated Series, story look's good sow far. Nice cameo by Stan Lee , look's like the show has promise.

I hope the Avengers won't be the focus of the show, been waiting quite awhile for another solid Spidey show.

That's going to be a bit hard to swallow, since

Surprised Mary Jane isn't on it more and not sure how I feel about Flash being in it, he's pretty useless.

Ya, Flash is a bit of a let down. nice twist with having Mary Jane be the one who's interested in being a reporter for a change. but still cant wait for

I really wish Dish would get back in good graces with Disney so I could see these shows in HD.

At least I caught the repeat of the first episode and now have both on DVR so I can watch later.

One of the best cartoons on television right now. Saw the premiere at WonderCon and they hinted that Ultimate Spider-Man will be tied to the growing marvel universe in the films. They even said the avengers may hint at that.

Not sure if it's at the same level as Young Justice or not but I don't like the team that SHIELD has put together to collaborate with Spidey at all. 2 very solid episodes so far, definitely looking forward to the one next week.

No it's definitely not at Young Justice quality but to be fair that show is done by the creator of Gargoyles and the last great Spiderman cartoon.

I am actually OK with the group. Obviously I don't want every episode to be about Spiderman in a group setting but at least they chose interesting characters like Luke Cage. I am more worried about them trying to turn Spiderman into a Batman with tons of Gadgets. That's not what he is about.

Marvel dumbed down this series a bit, the other teen heroes were not necessary at all but I am sure in the new Disney era that synergy is a key concern of Marvel. The animation looked great in HD, though I still think the voice they selected for Spidey was off. His dialogue was great and felt like classic Spider-Man banter.

Will we ever see another Marvel production that doesn't feature Nick Fury? Avi Arad must love the character.

I am OK with Nick Fury. Honestly he kinda helps remind everyone that all the superheroes are together in the same world because he cameos in everyone's show and movie. He usually isn't a dominating appearance and it kind of works for his character being a government super spy that knows everything about everything.
