at any point in time...half of this list could be re-done....I am likely forgetting some of my all-time favorites at this very moment...

I just couldn't bring myself to narrow it down to only 5. There are actually many more, but the list was getting out of hand.

some movies im surprised no one has really stated (either to see in HD or as favs):

kill bill
godfather
die hard
american history x
reservoir dogs
aliens
or even terminator

and one that might be fun: ben-hur

well all the terminators are already getting ready for a blu-ray release, but i did totally for get about the godfather. Part 1 and 2 would be sweet on blu-ray.

Imagine the classic Rocky themesong (yes it will be in Rocky 6) on DTS HD or Dolby trueHD or PCM 5.1. Damnzzzzz.

1. HEAT (I hear WB's is having a hard time finding a good master)
2. Last of the Mohicans (theatrical version only!)
3. Gladiator (as much for the soundtrack as the video)
4. The Untouchables (my fav of the 80's; that's the chicago way
5. LOTR TRILOGY EE (I'll bet any amount of moola we get the theatrical editions first)

In fact, I guarantee we'll all see the same cycle of multidipping on titles like we did for DVD...which is a lot more inexcuseable this time around.

Lotr, didnt like the Lotr movies that much, but I still want to see these in HD and lossless audio surround.

The special edition is the same print as the original release. I can't tell you how much I want this film in HD. I want all of Mann's films in HD except "The Keep".

There's a lot of stuff I'd like to see in Blu Ray but wonder what the quality of the film stock would be like now, Alien, The Exorcist and the suchlike. Guess I'll have to wait a few years until they put together heavy restorations.
