No Scooby. Im not really into music as i were wenn i were a teen & in my twenties. This system is for 90% film, <10% music. That's also why i were a little overbearing with the b&w's dominant bass levels.

But perhaps that'll change sometime in the future. you'll never know.

I was never that into music before I got my little B&W's. Guess about 10% before; now 30% or so, maybe more. Archie Sheep, Eva Cassidy, Diana Krall, and some classical like Paganini or Chopin is what they like.

Well I have to see that 'The Day After Tomorrow' that Crazy told me to see.

Also maybe i'll run a few trailers from demo-world.eu to further 'burn in' the speakers.

Not bad. My video recording skills aren't any better. Photography is where I excel and not video recording.

Haha I don't think I will be making a career with either

Im just feeling so useless sitting here waiting till i get it all bought and connected. So i decided too make some use of this thread.

It won't be long before im putting the CM5's and the projector screen up then at least there'll be a little some more to show of. Very spartan atm. But then again i did warn you it was only for kicks

Instead of waiting on here you should get the cm5's wired up now and put the projector screen up. That way it will be all done by the time you get your projector. You'll also get your cm5's broken in some and can enjoy surround sound now.

The reason for me being slow with that is that my carpenting skills aren't great. So I think i need a little help so as not to destroy anything.

Im waiting for a family member to get home from the usa..Then he will help me out.

Well you could run the wire along the base of the wall/floor and have extra length added to it to make sure it is long enough when you do it professionally. The wires will be showing but at least you'll get to use the cm5's. You can get those speakers going now. You don't need to wait. Just a suggestion.....

I understand. I don't think I could ever duplicate my musical frenzy as a teenager. However, now that I'm in my 40's I am taking time to listen to music again. Perhaps chasing my youth. I'm at about 70% movies 30'% music. I am looking forward to seeing how the new Rush blu ray will sound the moving pictures one.

I already have the wiring done m8. It's just I didn't really feel like pulling around to much with the wires before i got the cm5's mounted properly. Well perhaps i'll try it anyway.

I used my CM5 as front speakers for one month while i were waiting for my cm9's. So they are already a little broken in.

Yeah right now im locked at the metal/rock/alternative genre and im just finding it all so boring I almost only really like the old bands i liked wenn i were 15-25 of age.

So i guess im waiting for some "music miracle aha moment" to happen to me. The radio music isn't of much help either playing the same mindless s#it over and over (or maybe it's just me getting older).

I played a lot of music wenn i were younger so maybe i just need a little break from it all.

How are the new speakers? Watching anything good, listening to anymore music than before.
