What are BD's limits?

Not to me. I always opt for Blu-ray, but with certain very old films that cannot be brought to Blu-ray for a number of reasons - degraded elements, etc - I take SDVD. Everything I wish to own in my library has to be either or Blu-ray or SDVD. (I have about 20 VHS tapes left of very old films as well).

agree, I don't realy watch my DVDs any more, but if I would decide I had to see a film and it was not on BD, then I would just watch the DVD I have , why would I go DL it when it is not any better?

Blu-ray on the other hand can't make that kind of switch as easily.

how does that answer the question? If I have the DVD and I want to see it why would I pay and go through the pain of DLing the title when I could just put the DVD in the player.
