Hahaha, I absolutely agree! I love this movie, and I tried to watch it recently on DVD, it was uncomfortable, I didn't remember it looked that bad! Before the DVD, I used to own it on LaserDisc, which didn't look that great either. So if they got the transfer right this time, this will be the first time (since 1993) I'll see this movie the way it was meant to be seen!

Yeah, the DVD of this movie is one of the worst I've ever seen... Oh man it is just BRUTALLY aweful... Hope they cleaned it up and are giving it the presentation it deserves...

Love this movie! If it weren't for the fact that X-Men: First Class, Thor, Star Wars, and Jurassic Park are coming out on September and October I'd get this day one.

Has it been confirmed that the audio track is lossy 5.1? That's what the blu-ray.com page for it says.

I've been saying it for 5 years, Warner are a bunch of morons. I hope for their own sake that it's just a mistake, releasing a movie with a lossy soundtrack in 2011 is utterly stupid. If that's the case, it could get ugly...

That and the fact that the non-US releases of this title all have DTS-HD MA on them I can't see this being any different.
Simply incorrect data entered by whatever individual, if it isn't corrected before that the reviewer certainly will.

I definitely had a crush on her after seeing that flick in the theaters. I know Speed was what made her a star, but I knew after Demolition Man that she was someone to watch(for both looks and talent). And to think, they initially had cast Lori Petty in the role and had actually started filming before Bullock replaced her.
