I am definitely getting Halloween II. That's a pretty underrated sequel. It would be very sad if they didn't have any features for it though.

Although I am definitely going to pick it up day 1 and do enjoy the movie, I feel it is very overrated. After not seeing it for a while, I recently watched the dvd w/ my father, who was never a fan of the originals, but really enjoyed Rob Zombie's version. I kept telling him that although Zombie's h2 was good, many people prefer the original. So we watched it, and man, I never realzied how poorly made this film was. What was attempted suspense was came off as boring.

However, I do personally enjoy it, but I am not fooled that this is necessarily a good movie. Being a huge Halloween fan, I am excited to add this to my collection none the less

I'd be perfectly content with a Tom Atkins and whomever else, commentary track for Halloween 3.

Well they have a right to not add bonus material to the disc and I have a right to not purchased the Blu-rays if they don't add the bonus material. I have Halloween 2 on vhs so I will just use my vhs copy. I think I will send Universal an email and explain to them that I will not purchased Halloween 2 or Halloween 3 on Blu-ray if they don't put the bonus material on the discs.

I actually enjoyed Halloween Part 2 a lot better than I enjoyed Part 1. I've also always wanted to see Halloween Part 3: Season of the Witch. Wjhile it had no Michael Myers, I loved the fact that it really tried to emcompass the horror of Halloween and what happens when a corporation gets involved, corporations that are always portrayed as evil entities.

Great news. I don't get these comments about waning budget pricing. **** that. Give me a high quality transfer and audio options, and I will pay full price for them. They deserve that kind of treatment.

And please for the love of god keep Zombie's name out of this thread. Jesus Christ.

This is awesome news! I just sent an email to Universal about the newly recorded special features that they passed on. I would urge you guys to take the time to do the same. The link to Universal's email is:

Here's what I said:

Hello,

I have just read an article stating that Universal will in fact release Halloween II and III on blu-ray this fall. I thank you for finally releasing these fan favorites. I'm sure they will the best picture and sound that Universal is known for providing.

I would just like to ask if you could please consider adding the newly recorded interviews recently made available by Director Phil Nobile, according to an article I read on bloody-disgusting.com.

Recently the Echo Bridge company released other Halloween sequels and fans were appalled by the attention that was given to these films. I know Universal can do better than that, and the fans of these films would definitely let it be known.

I appreciate your attention in this matter and look forward to future Universal blu-ray purchases.

Sincerely,
XXXX

Awesome. I think the series should have stopped at 3 once they realized people didnt care for Halloween unless it was for Meyers. He died in Part 2 as far as I care. 3 is just classic though in its own right.

Awesome news. Even though I'm typically not in favor of 1-disc double features, I hope that this will be one. Since it probably won't have any special features, both films would easily fit on a BD-50.

While they're at it, I'd love to see Universal put out a Psycho II & III double feature blu-ray at the same time!

Very underrated movie. If it didn't have a the Halloween name in front of it, plenty of people would enjoy it a lot more.

I might be wrong, but weren't they planning on doing different halloween tales or something every two movies, but people wanted Michael back that they went and brought back to him?
