I did mention AVS but I also mentioned other places. It's widely known and accepted that Panasonic is about as pro BD as a company can be. If you think that Panasonic and Samsung, or any other company, thought that the price of the PS3 was going to be more than it is you are in denial. If anything some companies probably expected it to be even less. No one who knows anything about the gaming industry thought the PS3 would cost more than the $1000 Samsung player, much less more than the ~$1500 expected price of the Panasonic player. That's what you're suggesting, isn't it?

I thought Blu-ray was going to be the winner here but with all the delay, and Panasonic furious over the PS3 pricing it spells trouble in the Blu-ray camp. I got to tell you LG is starting to jump ship and so is Dell offering multi HD DVD Blu-ray players and drives upcoming. I think this PS3 price release is a fiasco that has gotten out of controll for Sony, and now things are going south, time will tell soon enough!

Wow, at it again are we Sony1? I would like two things...

1) Your proof that Panasonic is furious and others in the BDA about PS3 pricing.

2) Your proof that Dell is offering multi HD DVD Blu-ray players and drives upcoming.

I think you are going to be hard pressed to find any proof, considering your statements are blatantly false, or you've just been brainwashed by Toshiba and Microsoft's sheeple and you for some reason just can help yourself in regurgitating their FUD.

As long as the Samsung still comes out this month, I'm happy.

Exactly right.

Like I said a page ago: The mods should rename him "FUD" and have him on the short list of being halfway out the door if this crap continues.

There's a lot of things you've been posting on this forum that need concrete backup and verification. Until the unlikely event happens that you actually back it all up with something concrete and meaningful...I think it's pretty clear where you're coming from and what you're all about.

Well since this thread has run its course and you have no way to back up your outrageous claims this thread is closed.
