I don't know that there are any second printings of Carlos "out in the wild" yet.

It's been made as a TV series I think, consisting of 3 episodes. Both its IMDB and wikipedia page state it's a miniseries. There's a movie version which is almost twice as short.
But I guess it can be categorized as both. Personally, I don't know if I should put it next to my other TV series on blu or just as an ordinary movie. |

HI,
CARLOS exists in two versions: 1) The original French TV mini-series, consisting of 3 episodes, roughly 105m, 118m, and 125m in length, all broadcast over three consecutive nights on Canal Plus in France, and 2) A condensed, 2.5 hour movie version. The TV mini-series sometimes also gets shown at selected cinemas, in one mammoth 5-hour-plus version, with no breaks between each part. So, it's technically a TV mini-series, AND a TV series, AND an Extended Director's Cut. However, all known DVD and Blu-Ray releases keep it split into three, seperate parts, (usually labelled as Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3, or CARLOS THE MOVIE, THE TRILOGY, depending on which territory you live in) for convenience and the ease of releasing it onto DVD and Blu-Ray. ![]() Hope that clarifies things for people. ![]() Pooch |

Actually the german Blu-ray has the long version as one continuous movie. There's a break where you have to change the disc but there are titles only at the beginning of the movie.
I prefer to have the three parts seperated though. |

Yeah, the avatar he was using if I remember correctly was a quote in French (or some other language) that when translated said lost in the cosmos. The blue letters on the black background gave it incredible almost 3-D like depth.

Just got it too and mine doesn't say second printing either. You'd think they'd ask stores to ship back their stock. It's not like stores are carrying 20 of these. Btw, is it noticeable if you're not using surround sound?
