Can anyone confirm for sure that the blu-ray for Les aventures de Philibert, capitaine puceau has English subtitles? I'm getting info all over the internet that it does carry English subs, but of course, it's impossible to get any French reviewers to confirm this, as well as just show the damn back cover of the blu-ray.

Really wish more of the Gaumont releases had English subtitles, especially as the likelihood of these films being released in other countries seems small. Which is a shame as I'd import way more of these if they did. Looks like none of the January and February releases have English subtitles, fingers crossed for the March releases!

Gaumont has secured funding for the restoration of 270 films over the next four years, including L'Atalante, L'assassin habite au 21 and Toni.

Godard's Bande à part and La chinoise will be released on Blu-ray in October.
