Rarest would be the OOP Texas Chainsaw Massacre with the glossy cover.
Most expensive is ESPN 30 for 30 Complete Set ($60)

Default T2 PE Steelbook

The most expensive one I ever bought was my Japanese Terminator 2 Premium Edition Steelbook (JPY 6,436 including shipping = $68.33 at then-current exchange rates.) I don't have any terribly rare BDs, though.

My rarest has to be Resident Evil Degeneration Steelbook since they don't sell them at Walmart anymore.

Most expensive is either my Toy Story Collection or my TMNT Collection.

Are any of the Harry Potter Ultimate Editions considered rare? I know they're pricey, but are they rare?

If we are counting sets as well then then the following would be my most expensive:
1. LOST the complete series.
2. Battlestar Galactica Complete series (original release)
3. The Stanley Kubrick Collection.
4. Deadwood: the complete series
5. Rome: the complete series
6. Superman complete collection

Rare:
1. Watchmen Directors cut.

Well the the edition I'm talking about is the Canadian edition, which cannot be bought on many online retailers anymore. I snagged one of the last ones from Amazon.ca

I have The Man Who Fell to Earth, Battle Royale 978/10,000, and a few steelbooks. I'm also going to get Pierrot le Fou during the B&N sale.

I used to have the Blade Runner briefcase but I sold it (I needed the money at the time).. I regret this decision.

I have the Inception briefcase, Moon w/ slipcover, and .. that's pretty much it as far as rarity goes, I think.
