Everyone seems to be forgetting the most obvious baddie female cop ever and the totally unnecessary and laugh-out-loud awful rhythmic stomping/clanging of weapons that the baddies do when they all get together (I'm actually chuckling typing that)

I won't be buying this new, I'll be the guy that guiltily buys it second hand on amazon from one of you!

The PQ looks good. Somewhat soft...but that's definitely due to source material. The AQ, on the other hand, is pretty impressive. Nice use of surround speakers.

Bottom line, I've seen this movie many, many, many times and this is hands down the BEST it has ever looked or sounded.

FYI:
Brian Thompson never fails to creep me out when he has those pantyhose pulled over his head. Definitely nails the whole "demented serial killer" vibe.

And his creepy ass cop girlfriend is pretty disturbing looking too...even without the panty hose pulled over her head.

I was a huge fan of Sly's back in the 80's, but this hasn't aged well.
You forgot while watching a old school from our 80's (toy's r us) christmas ad.

I wish theyd come out with Stone Cold bluray, and The Barbarians but highly doubt that would ever happen, and Hard Target. Would kill to see Van Dammes mullet in HD, hah.

I found all of the new Stallone films at WM today. Demolition Man was $10, the rest were $9.

i don't see how anyone could hate on this film, it was a great flick in the 80s. It served its purpose and still is just overall fun.

I mean didnt anyone else after this movie want to get their gun cleaning stuff and cold pizza from their freezer. Slice a piece of pizza off with a freezer and get to work on your badass gun. I know I did

Were they in the big rack in the middle of the electronics dept. or on the end cap opposite of the new releases?

Cobra Blu-ray Review

Looks as expected. I'll definitely pick this up if I find it at Wal-mart for $9, but if I don't, I'll wait a bit since I ordered Demolition Man and Dexter: The Fifth Season recently.

Good old 80's action

I'd buy it for $6 or 7.
Loved it as a kid.

Thinking about joining the zombie squad.

I loved this movie when I was a kid. The knife that one guy (bad guy) had was sooo bad ass.

Gotta pick this one up.

Thanks for the heads up about the $9 blu ray at WM! Just bought it at the WM on Lakeshore in Birmingham. The clerk was just now putting them out; those of you who couldn't find them there earlier, might want to call & check again. Good luck!
