Next states region B only on the case, however it plays perfectly on both my UK PS3, and on my laptop via WinDVD BD which is set to region A.
So it does appear to be region free.

Hey guys, i know a lot you already know this but Next is in stock and ready to go, 100%.

Just got Transformers today, i love living 3 minutes away from the warehouse.

No idea if its region free, sorry. Transfer looks ok.

I'm really pleased this title has turned up eventually, and it was just a few days delay rather than Paramount pulling some stunt to stop EiV releasing it in the UK, which would have REALLY annoyed me.

It still isn't available to rent through lovefilm, but perhaps EiV don't allow them to rent out their movies, as The Crow is also not available to rent from them.

And it still hasn't appeared in my lovefilm rental queue whereas every other title released yesterday has.

So none of these places actually have it, which is a situation that is often followed by the title disappearing completely.

How do the PQ & SQ measure up?

Also, is it definitely full HD 1080p as EIV released the Crow as 1080i.

I don't really believe in them as a distributor.

Are you saying that you've been able to score Transformers (2007 Michael Bay movie, not the cartoon) on Blu-ray? As well as Next

- How's the audio and picture/transfer/encode quality on both?

- Which video codec is being used?

- Which audio codec is being used?

- How much did these cost?

- Where can I get them? (i.e. link to import site)

Actually it was the Michael Bay version!, BUT, it was
"Deleted - This item was recently deleted in the UK, but we may still be able to get stock of it."

I doubt VERY much they will get it though. And there isn't any codec/audio info. Very sketchy.

On a brighter note, my copy of Next came today. It says just Region B on the back though folks.

It's the first Blu Ray that has the ANAMORPHIC WIDESCREEN 16:9 logo on the back too. Aspect ratio is 1:78:1. With DTS HD 5.1.
