For signature like that, I would have opened the cellophane and have him sign the actual cover.

-1. In steelbook world if not sealed means lesser value..that is if your planning to sell it for profit. Now, if the owner wants to keep it for his own pleasure it doesn't really matter..that's his prerogative.
