I bought The Dark Knight and the Rush: Snake and Arrows Live BD after buying the PS3, but I didn't have a 1080p display yet. I actually bought a laptop with a BD drive and Full-HD display before getting my Bravia. That one came with 3 movies: Surf's Up, Hitch and Casino Royale. I didn't even watch the first two, but I still have Casino Royale.

I think I had about 15 blurays when I got my player. I started buying the day I ordered the player and it took a week or 2 to arrive. Among the titles were: Deja vu, covenant, underworld, blood and chocolate, catch and release, mission impossible collection..

ah, in the beginning

Just one: "The Rock." It was in anticipation of buying a PS3.

None. I got mine in 2007, well before combo packs were around, so there would have been no point. I do have several 3D releases and no 3D player.

I actually think I had about 4-5 before I even owned a blu ray player. At the time I didn't have a proper setup so I knew it would be useless, but I kept an eye out for bargains and snapped them up when I saw them.

Two. I bought Toy Story & Toy Story 2 because they had a slipcover and the DVD editions didn't.

The day I got my PS3 (first blu ray player) I went to Best Buy and bought the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Chain Saw for those keeping score). I did own Resistance: Fall of Man the day before I got the player

Well if you count my ps3 then none. I got my ps3 out of boredom at home and started playing video games and that's when I stumbled upon this website after googling blu-ray for reviews. I've been collecting ever since.

NONE, got 10 free blu's w/ the purchase of my first BD player (the player (a Sharp that I paid $399 for) is a useless pile of rubbish, but the blu's are still working and going strong)

I had Pinocchio probably about 6 months before buying a player.

I actually received my first Blu-Ray player as an award from some projects I was involved with at work a few years ago (this was back in 2007). It was shipped to me, and I ordered a couple of movies online (namely the first 2 Pirates of the Caribbean movies) prior to actually receiving the player, but I knew that it was already on the way, so I'm going to count that as zero since I didn't actually buy any movies before that was already in progress.

0.

I actually had two players (PS3 and PC Drive) before I bought my first BD almost a year later.

Bought a few of the very first releases in 2006, bought a player in late 2008 and had about 20 by then. Only really started serious collecting in late 2009.
