Default Equivalent End Caps

The BB I was in on Thursday had end caps for both Blu and the other. (They were two aisles apart, possibly to avoid bloodshed.) The Toshiba display had their player for $499.99; the Sony for $487.99. So, in these major displays, the Blu machine was the less expensive one. Each, of course, had the five free DVDs, so that evened out. This BB store had a huge Blu section--though the disks were all too expensive compared to amazon.com prices (I didn't bother to look for the other section).

Best Buy is expensive, true, but how do you expect to gain a retailers loyalty if you don't shop for blu there? If they see more sales from the other side, I don't think they'll go buy way of Blockbuster/Target/BJ's. I myself, pay that extra money, cause, well ..... I guess I'm just a fanboy.

Anyone see the BB ad today, they're giving away 4 free movies (plus the 5 mail in) to move those hd-dvd players. Wish blu had that deal.

There are some great reviews here.
