Good news day indeed! Just found out Star Trek TNG will be completely remastered for Blu-ray release next year

And that one of my fave films this year is getting a steel

This might be a blindbuy (haven't done a blind buy in a while) for me as I've not seen it, but my friends have recommended it highly since I liked Cloverfield.

Well if it's not a Stickerbook the picture still gives the impression of one. Anyway in this case Stickerbook or not, the artwork should have been like an 80's movie poster.

It's actually slightly different to the French steel. This one has black covering all the edges where as the French steel has the silver steel showing.

I don't know why there's so little love for these covers...they're playing off the Super 8 packaging great in my opinion. Even the US cover. It looks like a package of Super 8 film, how could you be more on topic???

And the steelbooks are playing off the manuals that came with the cameras...I'm IN!!!

Not seen this yet but will be worth a blind buy - being a ltd SB if I don't like worst case is that I break even.

If it's anything like the other Paramount steelbooks (like True Grit which is my fave) it should be a removable sticker.

Another HMV Exclusive Paramount Steel! Expect it to be embossed, removable rating logos/data sheet, and with back and inner artwork!
