Must be in selected stores because not only is there no 2 for £15 offer in my local HMV (Bracknell), but now, they have stopped the 2 for £20 offer in my local aswell.

HMV Bracknell sucks!

Give it time, mate.

Mine only started the offer today. It was chaos instore, there was stock all over the place.

I had to get them to mark down a copy of Cape Fear into the offer,(it was priced at £20 on its own), as they couldn't find the sales stock.

I could easily have dump near £100 in there, but left with only two titles.

Had a quick look in the Southampton store today, mostly because I'm after Cape Fear which they didn't have. Lots of stock waiting to be put out though, so will go again during the weekend.

I'd be surprised if it ever appears in my local HMV to be honest. It's not exactly busy most days.

Infact, I have a strong feeling that it'll close down sometime next year.

Big selection in mine but managed to limit myself to just 2. Went for Cape Fear and Candyman.

Cape Fear, Frighteners, Candyman ect all in my local. But they've actually reduced the blu section to two small stands in the back corner of the shop behind a massive Apple technology section. The 2 for 15 comprising of one stand and a ridiculously high priced A-Z stand adjacent. Rubbish really. No wonder their not selling any. Half the shop is cds and dvds.

I haven't been in the larger Swansea store for years but the Trostre store has a tiny CD selection A-Z and CD selection in general. It's very disappointing for people who like CD's I'd imagine. The BD bit is one aisle long with bits on the end, about four five foot of that are the 2 for 20 offers (Ihaven't been in since they've changed it to 2 for 15). The DVD section has shrunk slighlt but it takes up most of the store.

They also reduced the size of the 2 for offer in my local HMV. Used to be spread over a large section now it's just two and a half rows. Overall I'd say the size of the Blu-Ray display has been reduced by at least a third.

Slightly off subject, regarding carrier bags. Went shopping in Tesco after getting back from holiday saturday, and she rang my carrier bags through and it appeared on the reciept as carrier bags 8 @ 0.00p, so maybe they are about to start trying to charge.

As Alex says, they can carry my shit to the car, or put it in the bags, organised for me or i'll just swizzle off somewhere where I dont get charged.

HMV lick donkeydick.

Picked up Cape Fear and Hitman today, loads in Guildford HMV. Last Friday picked up Takers and Scarface triple with slip - thanks to staff error. Manager had to override as should be £22.99 not 2 for £15

I think you're all missing the point re; charging for carrier bags. They're bad for the environment. Whats wrong with using a bag for life/tote bag? We have a ton of bags for life in the boot of our car, whenever we go to a supermarket we simply take the bags from the boot and stick them in our trolley. Its hardly difficult, and takes a modicum of effort, which in turn off-sets damage to the environment.

They've been charging here since the beginning of October. We use our bags to put rubbish in, they have a short shelf life before they turn nasty (and try and suffocate you). Who wants to put fresh meat in a rotten old bag that's been in the boot for a month? No-one. I want my BD's in a nice new bag as well otherwise I'm taking them out shoplifter style (with receipt of course).

The new bags (the 5p ones) are also terrible not like the old ones which really used to punch Mother Nature in the face. Is the 5p going to the environment (that's not a definite, shops with a staff less than 10 don't have to keep a record)? They haven't lowered the price of the shopping so now we're essentially paying for the bags again.

I feel sorry for checkout operators though, they've had some grumpy bastards to deal with other the last few weeks.

The charge on carrier bags is a government initiative, not the supermarkets trying to get more cash out of you, or to raise money for the environment. It's to stop people using them. In my local Morrisons they've been giving out free Bags for Life for weeks.
