I thought this was a Universal film?

Every year it is like this. SteelBook Season typically lasts from September to December or the first week in January.

Come February, everyone will be starving for SteelBooks again and we will see daily update posts on Tintin.

I wouldn't say every year is like this! never have been released such many steelbooks here in the UK (or worldwide) than this year so far!

It always grows by a few more each year, but at least in Canada, Sept-Jan is very busy for SteelBooks because of the summer hit movies that are making it to BD.

Also, there have been Warner Wave releases (next week) and Alliance Wave releases, as well as the standard Disney Wave release all within the span of a few weeks.

I'm making trips to Future Shop twice a week or more.

I agree, it's going to be an expensive couple of months, but I personally only buy UK steels, and only for films I want. So there's not a huge amount I have on preorder:

- Pulp F
- X-Men First Class
- Rise of Planet of the Apes
- Touch of Evil
- Super 8

that's actually pretty much them all haha, but I only really buy steels now on preorder, I try and be paitent with others and wait for them to come down in price or scoop them up on ebay.

With it being a Paramount release in the UK like True Grit & Thor the HMV SB probably wont have all the writing on like the FS version, it'll probably have it on a U-card instead.

I dig it.

BTW What's up with HMV.com and thumbnail images. They have no high-res screens what so ever.

I guess someone listen to me as I suggested to them that the back of the Futureshop steelbook should be the front cover. And they listened hehehe. However, I prefer the Futureshop back color instead of this version. Either way, this cover is the winner!
