My local Tesco is being re-organised, and the entertainmemt section is now a bit smaller than before. Previously they had 2 full sections of Blu-rays, one for chart (1 - 40) and one for catalogue/offers. Now it is limited to one row of chart titles (1 - 10 only). When I asked if this was temporary while the re-organistaion was taking place, I was told that this was permanent.
Obviously stores can't compete with on-line stores (even their own), but I would regularly buy discs there if there wasn't a great difference in the price. Is this happening at other Tesco stores, and if so, is this a further indication of the demise of being able to buy Blu-rays (and other physical media) in shops? Steven |
