Wow, I like that cover for Dressed to Kill a lot. It will be interesting to see if the master is the same one from MGM, or if it is different.

When djvaso posted the 2012 Carlotta releases in January I thought they were going to release the British Joseph Losey film The Servant. I'm disappointed now!

I'm pretty sure Losey's 'The Servant' is StudioCanal.

Interesting line-up though! Been tempted to import the US release of 'Dressed To Kill', but will wait now for the reviews as Carlotta's releases are always strong, so it may be the better release and the one to buy.

Do you think they are likely to release it? I went to a screening of it last year preceded by a Q&A with James Fox and the print was atrocious. I was embarrassed for him!

Maybe at some point, but I'm not expecting it soon. StudioCanal released a boxset of Losey's films on DVD and 'The Go-Between' was released as part of the StudioCanal Collection. My guess is the next most likely Losey release is 'Mr. Klein' with Delon.

I really hope that The Housemaid has English subtitles as I don't see Criterion (or a UK distributor) releasing it any time soon.

Yami, as far as I know, Carlotta has never put English subtitles on a release, because they only have French distribution rights. The reason why they are so important here on Blu-ray.com is because they release so many English-language films in great editions, often with extras that have English audio or English-language speakers, but otherwise they cannot/do not go out of their way to be English-friendly.

A clip from director Guru Dutt's L'Assoiffé a.k.a Pyaasa (1957). The film is part of Carlotta's recently released DVD box set (not English-friendly).
