Yes it's available for pre-order at Sainsbury's Entertainment for a very reasonable £12.99. Hopefully one of the bigger online retailers will stock it though. I wonder if it will be the same as some of the other versions that have been released or if it will be a new design.

I didn't think The Hurt Locker was all that great of a movie, and It was extremely overrated. It surely did not deserved an Oscar for Best Picture of the Year! I've much better war movies than The Hurt Locker.

I felt the same way until I watched it again and I liked it a lot more the 2nd time around... I just preordered it at hmv and I don't care if the disc is locked or not since I will be replacing it with my u.s. disc... I just want it for the case... I'm crossing my fingers and toes that it's a g2 sized steel as it does look a little big in the pic

The Hurt Locker is'nt a War movie. It's a movie about people gone haywire due to wars. And it's very succesful in portraying these tragic men in a very antique way mirroring a greek tragedy. It's not nearly one of the greastest war movies but it's one of the most thought provoking movies of the decade and the best of that year if not any other. Hav'nt got it on bluray before, will gladly get the steelbook when it drops to 10 pounds somewhere.

I'll only double-dip on this SteelBook if it:

1) Isn't region-B locked.
2) Doesn't have any ratings logos plastered on it.
3) Has inside artwork.

Well it seems the Steel will have inner artwork and no rating logos printed on (all on a attached info card). However, as this seems to be a repacking of the regular UK release a little while back, which was region B locked, I would assume that this would also be the same.

It's released by Lionsgate so assume it's locked until proven otherwise.

The promo pictures show the disc with only B listed on it.
