Those are good movies. Glad to know someone besides me owns Katyn. If you want one that takes place a little bit earlier, but leads into WWII, try "City of War-The Story of John Rabe." He was lesser known that Oskar Schindler, but was German and saved a lot of Chinese people from the Japanese invaders in Nanking. I guess we all know what happened there.

Thanks for mentioning this one because I own it as well but missed it when I made out my list. Katyn is a fantastic film and being 3rd generation Polish with relatives in Poland who survived both the Russian and German invasions in WWII, this movie has special significance for me.
