Blu-ray.com has a "3D Movies" menu button at the top of their page. There you can see what is out in 3D.

I own a SONY 3D HDTV and I own the following on 3D. Avatar, Resident Evil: Afterlife, Despicable Me, Monster House, Tron Legacy, The Lion King, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

All look quite good in 3D, but Tron and Resident Evil look the best. Avatar is also decent, if you can find it. I also play 3D PS3 games in 3D, which is another nice benifit of a 3D HDTV.

It is not a sure thing, but said that True Lies, Titanic, The Abyss, as well as many others will be coming out on Blu-ray 3D in the near future. Many will have a theatrical re-release first. I am glad I own a 3D HDTV and 3D Blu-ray player so I am set for the future.

Any news on this, Simba? Other territories are getting it in a couple of weeks but there seems to be no word here.

I know of nothing more on this release or any of the other Warner ones I posted about at the same time I'm afraid.

Warner UK have a habbit of changing their minds on what they're releasing.

If I see a release date anywhere for them though I will update the thread's.

Update

Currently scheduled for a November release in the UK this year.
Likely either the 12th or 19th.

Thanks for that. I was just about to order the US disc. I never know what Warner Bros have planned when it comes to UK releases.

Any word on Strangers On A Train?

Thanks. The US release is cheap enough to avoid customs charges so I think I will import that one.

Where did you read this? It's a Warner title so I can't imagine they locked it.

I can confirm that Strangers on a Train is not region locked. It works fine in my region B player.

Excellent. I did notice that the 'Hitchcock and Dial M' extra had just gone through the BBFC again so was hoping for some confirmation of a UK release.

Strangely I think it has just been released as part of a boxset with North by Northwest and Strangers on a Train as well. Not listed on Amazon et al though for some reason although apparently it came out on Monday
