maybe its just the one in my area was told it was gonna be like 42 bucks after taxes.. i hope that things will change and they will get a sale like they did for harry potter. i still hate exclusives unless they are with Amazon because i prefer to get all my stuff through Amazon

Sweet, can't wait to own this. It was a real trip in the theater. That bridge disaster scene was wild. Looking forward to seeing how well it works on 3D TV.

And I look forward to seeing the end credits, with all the blood spraying all over my living room, and splashing out of the TV onto the floor. That was so bizarre in the theater. Could actually follow the blood as it flew through the air and hit the seats.

And the opening too... Wow. Very visual.

I will be picking this up day 1 as I did not make it out to theaters to see it. I will be picking up what I assume is the Best Buy exclusive 3D version I plan on getting a 3D TV soon and this will be a good test movie

Final Destination 5 3D Blu-ray

Final Destination 5 3D Blu-ray Review

Hello, I was wondering if Final Destination 5 3D is going to be a bestbuy exclusive as they are the only ones with a pre-order up in the US ? The release date is next week is why I ask. Thanks

If you have a link please post it for me as I didn't find the 3D BD version there and thanks. Nevermind, I found it.

It's a best-buy exclusive in the US.

Hopefully the price comes down with this weekends' ad
EDIT: 3D version down to $24.99 now

I'd imagine 3 discs;

Blu-Ray 2D
Blu-Ray 3D
DVD

The digital copy is an ultraviolet streaming copy, so no disc.

I believe the UK version is region-coded for the DVD & digital copy though, so be aware that while the 3D & 2D blu-rays will play in US players, the DVD & digital copies likely will not.

Ive been watching for the release of Final D 5 closely. As far as I know it's just BB in the US. Even yesterday I did a thorough check of Amazon & other retailers. The BestBuy site does have them. I'll call my BB Anderson Employee tomorrow & ask if he has a box in the back. If they are exclusive online & in store (like the site says), I'll post an update in the morning. If anyone here knows there local BB employees & can find out before me feel free to confirm the release! I was kinda hoping it wasn't exclusive (I hate exclusives), but still, I'd rather be able to get it!!

Keep us informed, thx

Did anyone see this in 3D in the theater? How was the 3D? Post converted or native?

Native. It was very good, made better use of 3D than the previous FD movie did. The kitchen sequence and opening titles spring to mind as good examples.
