if u notice there are sellers that give an option of the amount of points. seems to me that if a seller cant unload stolen points quickly, they may lose those points, which is why they give as low as a 2hr warranty and state 'use points asap'. so if thats the case, they would have to 'acquire' them on the fly as they sell them otherwise its lost profit for the seller. they must have someone on the inside of m$.

UPDATE: I got my account back on 1-11 and MS even gave me more points than I lost for the "hassle", the only down side is that my friends list is empty now.
