Fave and best is DH, but I find myself wanting to rewatch THE ENFORCER the most. Odd, because that was the first Eastwood movie I ever saw in the theater and was really disappointed and bored by it at the time. Guess Tyne Daly grew on me over time.

I also tend to watch the first half of SUDDEN IMPACT a lot, which plays like Dirty Harry's greatest hits for me. But then the plot gets going when he heads south, and I usually pop it out by that time.

The RC car scene is the only part of the movie I really like, outside of the sadly underutilized Evan Kim and getting to see Harry whale on the actor who plays Gul Dukhat on DS9. Even the Harry one-liners don't have the punch of all his great ones in ENFORCER and SUDDEN IMPACT, which might have been an inspiration for the later Fred Krueger flicks, where the guy with the claw starts sounding like he is auditioning for Roger Moore Bond movies.

I remember reading in a mag or newspaper during the late 80s that Warner had cut a half hour out of DEAD POOL a week before it came out to bring the runtime down and squeeze out more daily showingsw, yet have never heard about any other cut of the film than that general theatrical release. Can easily imagine more footage with Kim and with the female lead, but 30 minutes? Makes me think there is a whole subplot gone, at the very least.

Dirty Harry. Saw it in a theater way back when. As soon as it was over, I marched myself outside to the ticket booth and bought another ticket for the next showing. Only time I have ever done this.
