I'm not suprised by Sucker Punch, I know a lot of peoples tastes on here suit that film, suprised Rango didn't reach the list though

I have a pretty good idea of what I think the top 20 will be now. In no particular order

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
The Artist
Midnight in Paris
Drive
Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol
X-Men First Class
Captain America
Thor
Source Code
I Saw the Devil
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Super 8
Moneyball
50/50
Tree of Life
The Descendants
Warrior
Hugo
Fast Five

Very pleased with those predictions

For the ones you said unlikely or so-so, what do you think is left to take their place?

Sucker Punch has absolutely no business being in the top 20.

I wish the results would've been posted around the Oscars. There are still a few films I haven't seen, and some that I've seen recently that would've made my top 20.

Yeah and last years winner, The King's Speech, came in at #15.

In my opinion The Artist is way better than King's Speech, too.

Well I loved The King's Speech (own it on BD) and haven't had a chance to see The Artist yet, so I can't judge.

Here are mine that have already been ranked, since we're sharing...

2. Rise of the Planet of the Apes
3. Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol
4. Kung Fu Panda 2
5. Win Win
..........
6. Drive
7. 50/50
8. Warrior
9. Captain America: First Avenger
10. Super 8
..........
11. Hugo
12. Rango
13. Moneyball
14. Midnight in Paris
15. The Adventures of TinTin
..........
16. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
17. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
18. Bridesmaids
19. Source Code
20. Fast Five

It was a very limited release here in CA bay area. I'm going to assume many filmgoers have yet to actually see it.

I didn't vote, but it seems to me rankings will be swayed by what films are already out on blu-ray and how wide the theatrical release was (is). I'm sure many people haven't had a chance to see "The Artist" yet, for example, as opposed to say, "Bridesmaids".

Surprised to see Fast Five make the list. I loved the first one, but all of the sequels have disappointed me.

Sure it does. We were supposed to rank the movies that we saw. If you don't see 20 other movies that were better, it's impossible to not put it in the list. ..or you could be like me and not remember everything you saw until you see the movies ranked so far and say ohhhh yeah, I would of had that on my list but forgot it.

Anwho, here's what was already called off my list.

1. Fast Five
2. Drive
3. Drive Angry
4. Bridesmaids
5. X-Men: First Class
6. Sucker Punch
7. Limitless
8. The Adjustment Bureau

9. Source Code
10. Insidious
11. Puss n Boots
12. Contagion
13. Horrible Bosses

14. The Thing
15. In Time
16. Our Idiot Brother
17. Captain America
18. Super
19. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2
20. Scream 4
