I've got nine of those movies on blu-ray, and another two on dvd (can't say I've ever been interested in Bedtime Stories--and Jack & Jill isn't out...yet ).

I think all of them are pretty funny, except for maybe Mr. Deeds and Grown Ups. It's pretty hard to believe you can't find anything funny on that list.

Regarding That's My Boy, it does look like a raunchy return to form for Sandler fans. The trailer was fairly amusing, so I'm looking forward to it...

i saw this is a screening half a year ago back when the movie was called Donnys Boy, i didnt like it i give it a 4.8/10

but there were a few times that i laughed but not many
the movie tries way too hard to be funny and is over 2 hours long hopefully they edited out some of the unfunny stuff

ya it was a test screening i can describe the entire movie

they always have advance screenings i rarely go but this one interested me since i knew nothing about the movie and im a big fan of Andy Samberg

but ya the movie isnt good. Vanilla Ice was funny and the opening scene was funny in a skit show way, didnt feel like it belonged in a movie but definitely something you would see on MADtv or SNL

Hopefully, they did cut down on some of the junk, because two hours is way too long for a simple comedy. I noticed on IMDb that it had some rewrites, did you see anything in the trailer that looked new or different?

I looked this up online and the guys who wrote such movies as Sex Drive, She's Out Of My League and Hot Tub Time Machine are writing and directing this.

So if you like those movies, it should tell you what type of film it will be. Raunchy humor, as evident in the trailer.

I actually liked the majority of his movies up until Zohan. I would also consider some of them to actually be good, with Happy Gilmore being missing from the list. Zohan was the beginning of his decline in quality. Difference of opinion, which is fine, but just because you have it doesn't make any of it fact. It also doesn't mean you have to say people have lousy taste, although I will say it is pretty sad to see Jack and Jill made $74 million. I'll give you one.

As for my opinion of how That's My Boy looks, I can't really say right now. It looks to have some potential, but I also have to agree with some others that some of it looks extremely nasty. The bit with the wedding dress was completely unneeded.

She's Out of My League was raunchy, but this looks to take it to another level in some ways (like the already mentioned scene with the wedding dress). I'm nowhere near as confident in this right now as I was in She's Out of My League (which ended up being a very successful blind buy).

Might just be me, but I thought Zohan was underrated and it was silly and they knew that and just went with it.

Everyone takes everything too serious now. Seems like everybody hates every comedy movie that comes out either calling it overhyped or not funny.

I get invites to attend screenings for movies before they even have IMDb pages, so I'd say I belive him.

everything in the trailer i saw in the movie im pretty sure they didnt do any re-shoots since then but its possible

ya 2 hours is way too long and i saw it before it even had credits.
thats what Zohans main problem was it was way too long and also the love story was lame and unnecessary

Isn't that what movies are about is upping the ante in comedy. Whether you think its stupid or not.

Sometimes dumb just sells.

But I liked all three of those movies i mentioned cause i own them.

I know last year alot of people thought Bad Teacher looked horrible and stupid. But that didn't stop it from making 100 million domestically and 216 million worldwide on a 20 million budget. Whether people think movies are stupid doesn't matter, cause there will be people out there that seems them. Cause i'm sure not everyone is on the internet thumbing their noses at it.

ya i sort of agree Zohan is one of the only Sandler movies that ive seen in the past 10 years that i enjoyed but i thought the 2nd hour wasnt as good and definitely the movie is way too long

They're listed on IMDB for re-writes. But those guys still wrote the movies i mentioned and they directed Sex Drive.

Loved Hot Tub Time Machine aswell.

They are actually making part 2? I've heard rumors of that for years.

Comedy is one of my fave genre. I mostly like alot of the Hard R comedies. My fave three genres are Comedy, Horror and Sci-Fi/Action.

That's cool. Can't wait to see that whenever if ever it comes out.

I have some dramatic type movies, but are just not my thing really. I'm not that type of guy. And by that I can't really get into Drama's much. Neither am I, But that Project X movie looks like its trying to hard to maybe be a Superbad Wannabe from the short red band trailer I've seen of it.
