I can't believe they left out all those Directors Cuts for the Star Trek series...they were definitely better than the original releases.

First of all: Army of Darkness is not Evil Dead 2 ! it is is Evil Dead 3!

Additional cuts, not avaible on BD:

Army of Darkness: european Theatrical Cut
Dawn of the Dead (1978): Directors Cut
Dawn of the Dead (200*): Uncensored DC
Cujo: Theatrical Cut
Hellraiser 3: Unrated Cut

And just digging some graves:
Star Wars: TC and 1997 SE and 2004 DVD SE
Imperial strikes back: TC and 1997 SE and 2004 DVD SE
Return of the Jedi: TC and 1997 SE and 2004 DVD SE

regarding Scream: The unrated DC was released on LaserDisc in USA and DVD in Germany

regarding: "Das Boot": Its not "uncut" but its a Television Cut. The US 2 BD Edition contains the uncut Theatrical Cut and the uncut director's Cut, just to be as precise as possible...

If you like movies go region free, if your unwilling to than you can't whine about un-available titles that are actually out and easy to get with two taps from an Amazon page.

Released (by accident) on the first run on VHS. All subsequent editions have been the R-rated cut shows in theaters. The unrated cut is apparently much more violent.
Not entirely true.

There were three different VHS copies of Scream with different covers, they were all the director's cut.
It wasn't an accident it was promotional double dipping for the VHS sell-through market. Also the Laserdisc was the Director's cut.

Anyway it was only more by like 17 seconds of slowed down frames. The only actual footage difference is when the cameraman is killed.

But….

Add "A Nightmare on Elm Street"
The current versions of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" are all censored to comply with the BBFC. The original version on VHS from Media Video and Elite Entertainment had a gorier death for Tina.
Since the 1999 dvd box set the film's official American version was replaced with the UK's version and this error was never corrected as only a select few seem to care. I care however.

Also add.

Highlander II, the original theatrical version.

Both good calls.
Even if A Nightmare on Elm Street is just missing few seconds.. it is a version not avaible.. afaik another following Nightmare even got just r-rated threating on DVD and BD.

There are some movie versions listed, which are not avaibkle on BD anywhere. So going region free is not the solution on them..
