Exactly, any studio that got this would have been boasting about and hyping up the fans. The lack of any promotion was another red flag.

Yeah, all true what you guys said, I really pisses me off when some troll fanboy jackass wastes his / her own time and everyone else's time by making some false news about a movie we as fans are passionate about, leading to getting everyone getting excited about it, posting here and there, only to learn its bullcrap.
If a label has it, it would be announced by the label I would think.
The release has everything we as fans would want, but the twitter and other posts are all BS

I wish Godzilla 1985 and Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (1974) would come to Blu-ray already. I've been dying to see those again. It's been forever. Maybe with the new Godzilla coming this year and the other one in 2018, whoever has the rights will release them?

I don't keep up with who has rights to what, it's too much of a clusterf***. It doesn't make sense to me that those studios keep the rights to movies and NOT release them on DVD or Blu-ray. Wouldn't that net them a ton more money? Like I said, I know nothing about that crap.

I'm surprised how many Toho features still aren't available on BD in English. Not only the obvious Godzilla movies but Rodan, War of the Gargantuas, Frankenstein Conquers the World, Varan.....the list is a lot longer than I thought. Seriously, after the new Godzilla movie (and announced ones) what's the hold up?
