When you select either of the 2 quicker shipping methods the Import Fee's are automatically calculated and added to your order total.

I'm pretty gutted, I only just started to use them! Do people have recommendations for similar companies? I don't like to use MovieTyme.

I too am very pissed off about planetaxel closing, i used them for all my american releases as they were the cheapest with free shipping. I will go back to amazon.com i guess or another website that is similar in pricing and has no custom charges, its just trying to find one

Oh no!! This is terrible news! I've used them for 4 Years and probably placed 50 orders! Loved their customer service and nevet had a problem.. They even sent me 3 free blu-rays.. Guess I'm done with US releases cause I cant afford the import fees when using other companies:-/

Credit Card Charge
Your Credit Card will only be charged for items that have shipped
PayPal
Paypal payments require payment for the entire order amount upfront. Orders will not be processed until payment has been confirmed. If you are funding your Paypal purchase through your bank account, this can take several days. Payments funded by credit card or account balance are typically processed the same day.

There's already another thread running.
https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=199047
Or this one was first...
I'm sure someone can combine these 2, or close 1 of them.

But, like I said:
There goes my last international option for ordering american blu-rays, without the risk of extra customs taxes, because they always shipped in neutral packages and padded envelopes.
This sucks a.. big time.

Now what???

Anyone has a good alternative for international customers?
And with good I mean:
- Competitive prices, comparable to Amazon
- No total order values on the packages, or if so, then a lower amount
- Most titles available for ordering, not only the latest releases.
- Trustworthy, and good customer service.

But they run higher prices than Axel. I don't see any value there.
It's cheaper to order 1 or 2 titles at a time on Amazon.

But how does it work, are you guaranteed not to get caught in customs then like from Axel. Do Amazon ship tp Amazon UK and then from there??!

Because its only the diff in Vat between the countries right added by Amazon?!.

When you get caught in customs you have to pay the whole amount of VAT in your country on top of what you paid on Az, atleast in Sweden it's like that.

I usually buy small orders under the limit around 30 Dollars, but would like to make bigger orders and save on shipping.

Last time i ordered through expidited shipping ( joke del time for that price btw) it took a month. had several items with standard mail that came quicker.

I can't understand why Az.com can't ship with a normal Airmail service that ships to EU in 4-7 days!!!

I've never used Amazon.com. How much do they charge for a single blu-ray to the UK?
