Interesting to see Play have now signed up Sony for a new release Steelbook exclusive. The last Sony Steelbook in the UK was the Fincher Girl with a dragon tattoo HMV exclusive.

So does that mean the only major studio still with HMV for exclusive steelbooks are Disney ? although they also have Studio Canal (Rampart) and Lionsgate (Hunger Games)

You forgot the 'h' on the end. Otherwise i'll be posting the TOWIE bloke

Tbh, i would rather get individual steelbooks for movies in trilogy or franchises. I seem to prefer the individual artwork each would have to offer.

Guess who else only recently bought the MIB boxset. I also have the Bourne one, but I'm buying the steelbooks anyways. At least if I'm so poor I can't afford to leave the house, I'll still have my steelbooks

Don't do that for Top Gun - that comes up as £99.99. Or £250 in Ebay prices

I knew something like this would happen, happy I didn't purchase the single releases the other month. Will probably get this, even though I haven't seem the third yet but hey ho.

Now up for sale at £29.99

Guess the high price as MIB3 is a new release film so the standard BD will be at least £15.

It would have to include the 3D version to warrant paying that much. Sure MIB3 is new, but the first two have just been re-released and I'm not convinced many will pay £29.99 to essentially get one new film.

It'll wait until I see what it looks like, but I'm pretty sure I'm just going to get MIB3 on its own.

Agree too expensive for me as well.
Have MIB 1 and 2 already paid around £12.

Would have considered standalone MIB steelbook at £15. Seems a strange decision to only do as a 3 film boxset.

I too would have preferred a single MIB film in steelbook, preferably MIB3, because I don't like having multiple films in the same steelbook. I suppose two is okay, but three is just off-putting.

Bummer
If you've seen the trailer for the 3rd on a recent 3D Blu you could make a case that MIB3 was made for 3D
