moving my Itunes files (songs/movies) to an external HD

yep, with flying colors, now everything is on the HD and all I have to do is make sure I have it plugged in when I open Itunes on my new laptop, the great thing is my laptop's internal HD is free since my tunes and movies (digital copies) are now stored on the Seagate portable external hard drive!

You should also deauthorize your old computer. Itunes only allows so many authorized computers per account. It may not seem like a big deal now, but if you get another new computer and fail to deauthorize that one...
