I'm with you there. Those are some of my favorites, and Terrorvision, Prehisteria, and Arena never came to DVD, did they?

Ooooh hadn't heard about that. The only one I heard rumblings of was Re-Animator. I would definitely be in for that box set as long as the quality is good.

Most of the pre-Moon Empire Pictures (except for Re-Animator) are owned by MGM.
Which explains why no "Zone Troopers" either, except on DVD-R.

Pit and the Pendulum and Castle Freak! I, too, was considering getting the recent UK DVDs, as the transfers seemed much better than my ancient US DVDs, but now I will certainly wait for the BDs. If they use the same masters as they used for the UK DVDs this should be a great upgrade.

They announced Pit & The Pendulum as well.

If they do then we have to get The Chronicals of Benjamin Knight as well.

In addition to what's already been mentioned I'd like to see Blu-rays for Meridian, Oblivion 1+2 and Robot Jox/Wars.

Hopefully this goes well for Full Moon so they keep the releases coming. 2 titles per month sounds like a nice schedule.

Curious to find out how the new US Blu of Puppet Master will fare against the upcoming UK Blu.

No, unfortunately they never dead. Arena in particular is hard to track down on any viewing format. As someone else mentioned though, you can watch Terrorvision on netflix streaming (in HD no less!). The transfer is actually rather stunning.

Yeah I need to do that. The only other time I've seen Terrorvision was on TV.

Arena used to be on Netflix too, and that was the first time I'd ever gotten to see it, but it seems to have expired now.

And I haven't seen Prehisteria since I was a kid.

Ah, ARENA - Shari Shattuck was so unbelievably gorgeous in that movie. Totally fell completely in love with her. I wish this was a sentimental nostalgia rush but the truth is I first watched it a few months ago.

I haven't watched many Charles Band flicks but my favorite is Ghoulies. I watched it with my parents as a sprout; it was almost certainly my first scary movie. So many of those images stuck with me. I never knew the title, though, and years later I always wondered what it was. A couple months back I watched it on Netflix, and was overjoyed to discover it was my old long lost favorite.

So, are we getting new Blu-Rays for the original Puppetmaster and Subspecies or is this just an updated price for the original discs?

I had never seen it before, but I started a new job recently about 25 miles away from home and I stopped in there one morning and they had a box about 4 feet high and 2 feet long/wide with a sign that says "Movies you Buy $10" and they had a mixture of DVDs and Blus in there. They were all stuff you would normally find in a wal-mart $5 bin, but they did have "The Puppet Master" and "Subspecies". Couldn't help myself, haha.

Especially since they both rang up at $5
