One of my all time faves. The concept is so cool and mind blowing. Day 1 for me too.

Never seen this before but I really like The Thing, Halloween, Escape from New York, & Big Trouble in Little China. Think I would like this?

Day 1 for me as well, even though the last 1/3 sort of falls apart. It's a shame the potential of the first 2/3 is never fully realized, and all the interesting ideas and themes are jettisoned for a silly action-type finale, but it's still fun for the most part. Love to see Prince of Darkness next.

FAVOURITE. FILM. EVER.

I have an Italian import blu ray with nice PQ but only 2.0 or maybe even 3.0 Dolby (it has a HD MA track but in Italian) that I'm very happy with but I've been waiting and waiting for a "proper" copy.

If the PQ and AQ are good then I'll be buying this quicker than Indy, Jaws or any other title you care to mention

IMO,definitely one of those "so bad it's good" movies.I like it because it has very satirical viewpoint of capitalism, rampant consumerism,media-induced conformity,etc...Overall,a rather cheesy movie, yet politically subversive.

Most likely. The films you listed are all among my favorites, and I love They Live, so there's a good chance. If nothing else, give it a rent before committing to the Blu, but I bet you'll end up getting it.

I agree, I remember watching it, saying to myself it was awesome, then towards the end it was just like "meh"

HOWEVER, it's still a fun movie, one I didn't expect to hit blu anytime soon (didn't know there was an Italian release), so that's cool!
