Lol, I did that when I just started collecting DVD's and blu-ray's. Just wanted to open it and see the inside, if there were flyers, etc. (5 years back, when I was 13 and just started collecting dvd's).

I keep all my blu-ray's and DVD's sealed now (till the moment I want to watch the movies off course ).

lol we are all different i guess. there are people on this forum who dont ever open their steelbooks and buy multiple copies of steelbooks, 1 to open, 1 kept sealed and for display), i couldn't do that though. you dont buy 2 tvs, keep 1 sealed and watch the other one do you? i see no logic in it UNLESS you are planning on selling that steelbook further down the line

keeping it sealed till you watch it is a pretty good idea, i just dont have the patience, im like a kid when i buy something, i gotta unwrap it immediatley before i have even gotten home.

Another reason why i open my blu rays immediatley is to check steelbooks for dents, dings, u cant always see it underneath the cardboard J card on the back. lets say you dont open the steelbook cause you dont watch the movie for 2 months and then you open it and it has dents. you wont be able to exchange it or send it back thats for sure

normal amaray blu rays could sit on my shelf easily wrapped, but a steelbook, digibook or boxset i have to open immediatley

Yes. All 3D releases contain a capability of watching the film in 2D.

Yes. You need to watch Clash Of The Titans first. Wrath Of The Titans is its sequel. You won't fully understand the dynamics of the character relationships if you just jump into Wrath Of The Titans without watching Clash Of The Titans first.

I'm thinking that I might just get the 3D Double Pack instead. Since I don't have the first 1 so would end up paying £36 to get the first in 3D and this steel.

Or just buy the Double Pack for £17.99 Hmm.....

There was character relationship dynamics? I thought it was just about as flat as it could be

You could get by missing the first film and watching this

Agreed. Don't mind if the artworks the same as long as that horrendous blue banner isn't there. In fact i'm suprised they even would show that considering almost all new releases are clean.

Somebody shoot HMV a tweet or facebook message and find out please.

The WB logo on the spine is pretty high, I'm assuming it's just a mock-up.

No need for the use of the word 'rape' bradipolpo.

I must be the only person who doesn't get bothered by blu banners in the slightest

I prefer clean artwork with 0 text, all images tbh. If there's gonna be text, try and keep it on the info card and if you can't, make it minimum as possible. Blue banners are from the older times of steelbooks i think so i prefer they go clean as possible and looks better imo.

Wrath of the Titans 3D from Best Buy never had it and looked better for it imo, so i hope this is just the same

For me it depends on the situation.

My Iron Man & Iron Man 2 steelbooks I'm fine with having the banner.

My The Dark Knight steelbook, not so much since my Batman Begins steelbook doesn't have one.

Any standalone title with a blu-banner is fine with me. It's when there are sequels/franchises put together that are inconsistent with the existence of a blu-banner that can be bothersome.

In this case, I'm glad I have both Clash & Wrath without blu-banners.
